Robin Berger Workman is a self-taught abstract artist whose paintings pack a psychic wallop. On sight, the viewer’s curiosity takes flight. Her images are portals that allow each viewer to explore and reconnect with their own unique memories and life journeys.
Robin
has always loved color. She says, it gives her life shape, movement and
passion. Her first real influence was Scooby Doo, the richness and depth
mesmerized her while the spookiness fueled the fire. Later she discovered Van
Gogh, all the cogs in her head synchronized down and images started flowing.
She didn't start painting though until she was in her mid 20's. Through her
painting, sewing and glass art she has found her style and discovered herself.
Born in
Atlanta, Georgia, Robin now lives and creates in Clarkesville, Georgia. Some of
her unique paintings, glass work and sewn creations may be viewed at Memory
Lane, Batesville, Georgia -- and fiineartamerica.com
